Sound too good to be true? It’s not.
If you’re over the age of 15 then you’ve no doubt hear the many ways one can eat to lose weight. Here are some of the diets you’ve probably heard of:
- Clean Eating
- South Beach
- Weight Watchers
- Slim Fast
… and a 100 others.
I’m a fan of keeping things simple. Can we over-complicate eating healthy?
Yes. We’re awesome at it. We over-complicate everything. We’re humans. It’s what we do.

Just do this:
Eat more veggies.
Replace your morning bagel with a veggie omelet. Replace your lunchtime PB & J with a salad loaded with things that you love (avocado, berries, nuts and seeds, etc). Replace your Friday night pizza with a cauliflower crust pizza topped with spinach and peppers.
Don’t over-complicate it. Just make a replacement where you can and over time you’ll notice less bloating, less cravings for sugar, and less tiredness.
Is this the bottom line of eating well? No. However it is something that you can do right now to make a change for the better.
Seriously, put down the Peanut M&M’s and grab a handful of carrots to dip in almond butter.
For 2 weeks, try to replace at least one meal or snack a day with a more veggie-centered replacement. Why not?
